Lee Stevens - Vice President of Business Development

Lee Stevens brings innovative approaches to sustainability by blending the ENERGY STAR® approach to energy management strategies with her 15-year experience in corporate finance and marketing to develop energy efficiency solutions that meet clients’ investment criteria and profitability goals. Working with the utility industry and several commercial sectors, Lee has developed unique energy management  and financing strategies for her clients.

W. Mark Gendron, P.E., LEED, AP, Project Manager

Mark Gendron brings a wealth of practical experience and a common sense approach embracing the ENERGY STAR® approach to energy management strategies in engineering energy efficiency solutions.

W. Randolph Cole, AIA,ACHA,LEED AP

W. Randolph Cole, AIA,ACHA,LEED AP

He is board-certified by the American College of Healthcare Architects and is a LEED Accredited Professional.  He has over 25 years experience in the planning and design of healthcare facilities. He provides functional planning and project management services, and directs all architectural and engineering services. He has designed hospitals, ambulatory surgery and endoscopy centers, imaging facilities, ambulatory care centers, cancer centers, rehabilitation facilities, group practice facilities, and medical office suites for most clinical specialties. In addition, Randy has provided project management and design consulting services to hospitals and group practices.

What sets Randy and Dave Desilets apart is their ability to model in three dimension an entire building providing their clients with a more costs effective and user friendly design services. He has developed an expertise in sustainable design utilizing Building Information Modeling  (BIM). He is able  to achieve the highest level of energy efficiency while cutting design costs, facilitating integration of systems and reducing commisioning costs for his clients. His mastery of the 3D simulation capability of Revit allows his clients and team to visualizes a project quickly savings his clients countless of hours of design time. He believes in achieving the highest efficiency in the delivery of his projects to clients and works side by side with his clients on every component of a building with relative ease.

Consulting and Planning Services
Randy will assist you in identifying problems, determining solutions, and developing implementation strategies. The services include needs assessment and strategic planning.

He works collaboratively with our clients to engage key stakeholders in identifying functional and operational deficiencies, clinical services alignment issues, real estate assets and opportunities, schedule challenges, and funding requirements.  Randy organize the efforts of the group to achieve a comprehensive and concrete identification of the problem to be solved, which is based on consensus of the key participants.

Having collaboratively completed the Needs Assessment,  his team identifies the full range of solutions and develop criteria to judge each solution against potential future scenarios so that risks can be managed adequately. His team comprehensive and accurate budgets and realistic project schedules.  He identify other participants who will be needed to implement the project.  Finally, Randy assists  the  organization in the decision-making process that finalizes the path to the goal.

Design and Construction:

Once the client has made the decision to move forward with a facility project,  he will assist the client in determining the most appropriate team composition and contracting model for its implementation. One model is to engage other design and construction professionals, with Stratton Brook acting as the managing architect and as the development manager. Another model is to provide comprehensive project development, design and construction services as a single turn-key entity. His team 's  integrated services include Building Information Modeling (BIM) applications as part of the design process.

Randolph Cole, AIA, ACHA, LEED AP, received his Bachelor of Sciences from Georgia Institute of Technology and his Master of Architecture from North Carolina State University. He is one of a few Board Certified Architects of the American College of Healthcare Architects. Holding an NCARB certificate, he is a Member of the American Institute of Architects and a Member of Academy of Architecture for Health.

He was with Marshall Erdman & Associates Inc, DuBose Associates Inc, Heery International and Freeman-White Associates.

 

Dave A. Desilets

Dave has over 25 years experience in meeting the needs of the healthcare industry in the development of their outpatient medical facilities. His expertise includes encounter based space programming, site analysis, facility design and coordination through facility construction. He has provided client contact and project development services for the development of Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs), ambulatory surgery centers (both for hospitals and for private physician groups), cancer treatment facilities, as well as medical office buildings for physician groups, hospitals, and HMOs.

Dave's architectural career includes being Senior Project Director, Marshall Erdman & Associates, Inc., East Windsor, CT; he held the position of  Architectural Coordinator, Perkins & Will, Chicago, IL.

Aruna Sharma

Aruna Sharma is Emerging Technologies Associates 's Document Control Manager. She joins ETA after having started up and owned two small businesses, one of which she still manages. Trained as an attorney, Aruna brings to all of the projects that she manages the attantion to detail and strong managerial skills. Her enthusiasm and tremendous dedication to meeting her customers's need no matter how arduous and challenging the deadline is allows ETA to respond on critical request for proposal.
 

Robert Brian Murphy Jr

Brian Murphy has joined Emerging Technologies Associates in Rockville, MD as a technical writer. He has worked as an assistant manager for a UPS franchise operations developing critical customer relations skills while developing s specialty in rapid  paper and electronic transmission of data and correspondence of critical documents and other types of material on behalf of customers. 

A graduate of Villanova with a Bachelors of Arts in English, Brian is pursuing part time his graduate degree in Journalism. His excellent communication skills has allowed ETA to communicate effectively its mission and core strategy with potential clients on company litterature.   

 

   

Thomas A. Stanziale, HVAC Engineer

Tom Stanziale's responsibilities at Emerging Technologies Associates include project coordination, production of engineering designs and contract drawings. Tom works closely with clients to design building mechanical systems from inception through construction.

Bill Lodi, Senior Electrical Engineer

Bill Lodi's work with Emerging Technologies Associates includes design development and preparation of specifications for electrical lighting, power, and special systems, coordination with Architects on lighting layouts, review of shop drawings, project cost estimating and budgeting.

David Wylie, P.E., Associate

David Wylie provides practical knowledge of key electric energy systems and is one of the key Southern California Edison (SCE) consultants. He has developed over 20 courses that address energy efficient systems due to his ability to translate sophisticated engineering concepts into easy to understand concepts.

Raj Karki, Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, Raj Karki is responsible for the design of electrical distribution/utilization systems for various projects including commercial buildings, multi-apartments, health care centers, schools and restaurants as per latest NEC and the design of fire control systems per the latest NFPA requirements.

Sorin lliescu, Senior Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer

Sorin lliescu is responsible for complete system design from concept through contract document phases including equipment selection and layout of new plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial, institutional, and educational buildings.

Roger Muscillo, Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer

As an Associate of Emerging Technologies Associates, Roger Muscillo is responsible for the design and development of plumbing layouts and fire protection systems including fixture and equipment selections for commercial, residential, institutional and educational projects.

Susanne Giorgio

Susanne provides key administrative support for engineering project  managers and engineering team as follows:

1. Assist with preparing project specifications documents coordinating with each trade to conform to client’s style and guidelines. 

2.  Proofread all documents before final submission.  

3. Produce marketing RFP information request as needed. 

4. Log, track and process all project shop drawings in a timely manner, ensuring that all procedures have been followed. 

5. Respond to client needs and requests.

6. Utilizes Microsoft 07 Word, Word Perfect, and Excel.


 

Renee M. Piche, Associate, Project Financing

Ms. Piche leads a finance team developing solutions to help communities get the equipment and technology they need while effectively dealing with ever-tighter budgets. Over the past 3 decades, Her financing solutions have proven to be a cost-effective and an extremely successful way to meet the increasing number and variety of services municipal governments offer their communities.
